Paramedic


Location: Afghanistan, Iraq
Role Description

The role of the Paramedic is to provide immediate medical care and support in emergency situations. On site, the paramedic will organise, deliver, and monitor the provision of primary care to Client personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid assessment and emergency medical care.
  • Stabilise patients and prepare them for further medical treatment or evacuation.
  • Maintain a state of readiness, with medical equipment checked and prepared at all times.
  • Keep accurate records of treatments and incidents, and report to the medical supervisor or designated authority.
  • Conduct routine health checks and wellness support as required.
  • Support training and awareness sessions for on-site personnel in basic first aid and emergency response.
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • More than 5 years of experience as a paramedic with at least 2 years in high threat/austere environments
  • Trained to operate with convoys and/or in conflict zones
  • UK/US Level 1 Qualification or equivalent. Fully registered and licensed with no restrictions to practice
  • Nursing/Paramedic degree or diploma
  • Current certifications: ACLS, ITLS, ALS and/or GEMS
  • English language (spoken and written) to Level B2 (EU) or equivalent
  • Authorised to administer trauma/emergency meds under protocols
  • Experienced in managing remote clinics, patient care and admin oversight
